As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance traffic flow and safety, we're excited to announce the next phase of the Dan Jones Widening Project.
What's Happening? - The Dan Jones Widening Project, Phase II, is set to begin. This project involves widening Dan Jones Road from 100S to 200S to accommodate more traffic and enhance road safety for everyone.
Where and When? - Construction will start in June 2024 along Dan Jones Road from 100S to 200S. We anticipate this phase of the project will take approximately one year to complete. During this time, lane closures will ensure the safety of the workers and the community.
Why This Project? - This construction is a crucial step in the Dan Jones Widening Project. It aims to improve traffic flow and safety for all Avon residents. To keep everyone informed and safe, temporary construction signs will be placed along Dan Jones Road and Oriole Way.
