First up, Citizens Gas has finished moving their gas main on the east side of Dan Jones, making way for safer and more efficient services. Over on the west side, Duke Electric has successfully relocated their poles and overhead electric lines. This means that Spectrum, AT&T, and other services attached to these poles will be moving to their new spots soon.
Also, on the west side, we've laid down the new water main from Oriole Point to just north of Westwind Dr. We're aiming to wrap this up in the next two weeks, so stay tuned!
In the digital realm, new underground fiber optic lines are set to be threaded through the new conduits within the next month. This is a big step toward keeping Avon connected and fast.
Last but not least, our road contractors are gearing up to start smoothing out the ground and installing storm sewers in the area within the next month.
