Why are they widening Dan Jones Rd instead of Avon Ave ( rt 267 ) . Why not both? There are not enough north south roads available to ease traffic. How about a bridge over CR 900 n?

Dan Jones is being widened because it carries substantially more traffic than Avon Ave.  (About 30% more).   The Town’s long-term plans do anticipate widening both but Avon Ave widening is probably 8-10 years out based on current traffic volumes and anticipated traffic growth.  A bridge over CSX at CR 900 E is financially and engineering wise an impossibility.   CSX has several buildings and over 50 tracks that would need to be spanned.   The cost benefit analysis on a bridge would show it is not a good investment for the tax payers of Avon.

10. Don't know why your widening the road it nuts. All that traffic you still have to go down to 2 planes to cross the bridge.
