The Dan Jones Widening Phase 1 bid happened on November 16th, 2022. E&B Paving was awarded the bid at $4,780,569.69, about 13.8% over the engineer’s estimate. In this construction climate, that is actually a fair bid. The RDC agreed to fund $4.6 million originally and subsequently has indicated agreement to fund the remaining approximate $180K. Pre-Construction meeting happened on February 9th 2023. Clearing started in February and will continue with good weather.
