Our contractor will be paving Dan Jones between CSX and 100 South on Wednesday, April 24th (outer lanes will be paved) and on Thursday, April 25th (inside lanes will be paved). Expect lane closures during this time. The final asphalt layer will be added to complete the Dan Jones Phase 1 widening project. For your convenience, please find an alternate route during this time. (Dates are subject to change depending on weather)

Good news! Our contracted roadwork team will be back to lay down the new asphalt and paint those critical road lines just as soon as the places that make asphalt are open and it’s warm enough outside. They think it’ll take about 3 weeks to get it all done. And guess what? They’re planning everything so carefully that there won’t be any big road closures before 9:00 AM or after 2:00 PM on school days. This means less hassle for you during your daily routines!

Current Status – All lanes open to traffic. Northbound right lane will remain a merged lane until the Hendricks County Bridge is constructed to a four lane bridge possibly in 2025. The bridge project is completely overseen by Hendricks County.
Remaining Work- In April 2024, the surface layer of asphalt will be installed, then the final pavement markings will also be installed, completing the project, hopefully, by the end of May 2024.
