Utility crews will continue relocating facilities for the Dan Jones Road Widening Project (Phase 3), from US 36 to CR 100N. Please expect the following traffic impacts:
Lane Restrictions
Portions of the road will be reduced to one lane, with traffic directed by flaggers.
These restrictions are expected to continue through winter and into spring.
Short Full Road Closures
There may be brief full closures (about 5 minutes or less) to move equipment and materials.
“Spotters” will be on-site to watch for emergency vehicles and school buses. As soon as one is spotted, flaggers will immediately clear a path.
We appreciate your patience as this important project continues. Please allow extra travel time, follow flagger instructions, and use caution in the work zone.

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, Miller Pipeline will be unloading pipe for the Dan Jones 3 project just north of the Dan Jones/CR 100 North roundabout. The pipe will be placed in the grass on school property, where a temporary easement is in place.
Traffic control will be on-site during the unloading process. No full closures are expected—drivers may experience brief lane shifts, but traffic will continue to move through the area.
We appreciate your patience as this work moves forward.

Howard Companies will be performing asphalt patching work on Dan Jones Road for the gas line south of the County Side crossing. Howard’s crews will be onsite Tuesday and Wednesday, September 9–10, 2025.
To reduce disruptions, they will be repairing the trench ½ at a time. There may be minimal traffic stoppages.
Traffic Impact: Traffic control materials will be on-site to safely direct traffic around the work zones as crews work on each side of the road. Please plan accordingly and drive with caution in the area.
